Over the past week, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested four subjects following multiple welfare fraud investigations in Seneca County.
Arrested were the following:
Lynn M. Caci, age 49, of 192 Ovid Street, Lot 45, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with one count of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a Class E Felony, and one count of Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Brandy K. Elliott, age 27, of 26 Chapin Street, Lot 29, was charged with one count of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a Class E Felony, one count of Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and one count of Misuse of Food Stamps, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Paul L. Elliott, age 48, of 2815 Miller Road, Lot A, Waterloo, New York, was charged with two counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, Class E Felonies, and one count of Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony.
Tania C. Hoover, age 46, of 25 Peterman Road, Apt. H2, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with one count of Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony.
It is alleged that all four subjects received monetary assistance from Seneca County that they were not entitled to as they failed to disclose their true household income. All four subjects were released on appearance tickets to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on August 5, 2020, at 5pm.
