Welfare Fraud Arrest

On November 17, 2020, at about 1:05pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Amy S. Miller, age 52, of 2 Fall Street, Apartment 9, Seneca Falls, New York, as a result of a welfare fraud investigation. It is alleged that Miller failed to disclose household income while receiving monetary benefits from Seneca County. Miller was charged with Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, Misuse of Food Stamps, and Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree. Miller was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on December 2, 2020 at 5pm.
