HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:

September 10th, 2020: An inmate at the jail was charged after Corrections Officers discovered a homemade edged weapon.

September 19th, 2020: Deputies responded to a Domestic Violence Incident where a victim was assaulted and had a knife held to her throat. The suspect was apprehended without incident.

September 21, 2019: Deputies arrested a motorist in Junius for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs with a child in the car.

September 28th, 2020: Pheasants raised by inmates in the jail were released into the wild.

September 28th, 2020: NARCO arrested a suspect for allegedly dealing cocaine in Waterloo.

September, 2020: Investigators are following up on 2 suspicious, residential porch fires in Ovid.

September, 2020: The Sheriff’s Office attended 3 public forums on police reform.

September, 2020: A Welfare Fraud crackdown resulted in 3 persons charged for 9 crimes.
