The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday July 26th at approximately 3:50 PM , Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of State Route 96 and Brewer Road in the Town of Waterloo for a report of a car vs motorcycle crash. After investigating it was found that Adam T. Salvaggio age 19 of 6124 Haasdahl Road Orefield Pennsylvania was traveling North on Brewer Road and came to the intersection at State Route 96. Salvaggio failed to yield the right of way hitting Michael R. Swinehart age 30 of 523 Packwood Rd , Waterloo who was traveling East bound on Rt 96 his motorcycle . Swinehart was struck by Salvaggios vehicle and then slid across Rt 96 , coming to rest on the North side shoulder of the road. Swinehart was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to a landing zone at another location where he was then flown by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment for numerous abrasions and a broken collar bone . Salvaggio was issued a Traffic Ticket for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection, and will appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date. Deputies were assisted by The Waterloo Police Department, Waterloo Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance.
