HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:
December 11th, 2018: The Family Services Unit charged a suspect with physical and sexual child abuse going back to 2013 in the Town of Lodi.
December 15th, 2018: Deputies and Corrections Officers conducted the annual Shop with a Sheriff event. Ten children participated. Sheriff’s Office employees raised the money to fund the event.
December 18th, 2018: NARCO charged 2 suspects with Class A-II felonies for possessing a large amount of methamphetamine in the Town of Lodi.
December 19th, 2018: After a lengthy investigation, Investigators arrested a suspect for sexually abusing 2 children in the Town of Tyre.
December 20th, 2018: Investigations located and arrested a level 3, (highest risk), registered sex offender from Waterloo. He allegedly moved without reporting and was at large for several days.
December 27th, 2018: Road Patrol responded to a Domestic Violence Incident in progress in the Town of Lodi. The suspect was apprehended at the scene in violation of an Order of Protection.
December 27th, 2018: The investigation into 2 former County Officials was completed and turned over to the District Attorney’s Office to evaluate possible criminal charges.
