HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:

October 9th, 2020: Investigators charged a suspect in the Town of Lodi for Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records.

October 23rd, 2020: An incident is still under investigation in the Town of Varick that resulted in the death of a 3 year old child.

October 24th, 2020: Officers participated in another Drug Take Back Day. About 50 pounds of prescription drugs were secured for destruction.

October 27th, 2020: A jail inmate was charged with felony Criminal Mischief for allegedly destroying facility property.

October 2020: The jail inmate garden was harvested. Produce grown by Inmates was used for inmate consumption and a local food pantry. Flowers grown were donated to the Office of the Aging.

October 2020: Sheriff’s Office deputies and corrections officers completed firearms range qualifications and use of force training.
