The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 29, 2022 at around 10:47 p.m., Deputies responded to 29 Inslee Street in the Village of Waterloo and arrested 25 year old Kenneth D. Saunders Jr. at his house in connection to a Larceny at the Wet, White, and Blue car wash in Ovid. Saunders was caught on a Wet, White, and Blue car wash security camera drilling out one of the locks on one of the car wash’s change machines. An investigation showed that Saunders was able to steal approximately five dollars in change as a result of the Larceny. Saunders was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center where he was processed and released on an Appearance Ticket for the charges of Petit Larceny, Criminal Mischief, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Burglar’s Tools. Saunders is due to report to the Ovid Town Court in mid-May to answer for the charges against him. 22SH08096. 146.
