The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two individuals following an investigation into a larceny complaint. On January 10, 2019 Investigators arrested Charles D McNeil, age 37 of Waterloo NY, on the charges of Grand Larceny 4th degree and Identity Theft 2nd degree, both Class E Felonies. On January 14, 2019 Investigators also arrested Dawne M McNeil, age 43 of Waterloo NY, on the charges of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Identity Theft 2nd degree, a Class E Felony. It is alleged that both suspects used the Debit Card belonging to a male victim on numerous occasions and withdrew money without the victim’s knowledge or permission. As a result, the male victim sustained substantial financial loss. Charles McNeil is currently incarcerated at the Seneca County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. Both Charles and Dawne were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at the Waterloo Town Court on January 23, 2019 to answer the charges.
