Grand Larceny

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on January 21, 2022 at around 2:00 p.m., Deputies responded to a business in the Town of Junius for a reported theft. Upon arriving at the business, the suspect’s vehicle, a White 2010 Honda Accord was located leaving the business. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. An investigation identified the two occupants of the vehicle, 25 year old Jasmine L. Knight of Rochester, and 22 year old Malysia S. Manning from Rochester, as the suspects in the theft. It was determined that the two females stole items from multiple businesses before Deputies caught up with them. Both females were subsequently arrested and charged with 2 counts of Grand Larceny 4th, 2 counts of Petit Larceny, Conspiracy 5th, Conspiracy 6th, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Knight also received the additional charge of Possession of Burglar’s Tools.
