Endangering the Welfare of a Child/Criminal Impersonation Arrest

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on April 14, 2023, at about 6:00am, Investigators arrested Jared M. LeBlanc, age 31, of Seneca Falls, New York on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (two counts) and Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree. The arrest stems from an investigation that began earlier this year. It is alleged that LeBlanc initiated and engaged in inappropriate text conversations with two minor females. It is also alleged that during the course of one of the conversations, LeBlanc impersonated another person in efforts to further the conversation. LeBlanc was arraigned at Seneca County CAP Court where he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear at the Waterloo Town Court on April 26, 2023, at 5pm. Orders of Protections were issued on behalf of the two victims.
