On September 19th, 2019 the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that a traffic stop in the Town of Ovid resulted in a DWI arrest. Deputies report that at around 10:20pm Pamela J. Washak, 53 years old, of 2 Nancy Drive in the Village of Waterloo, was stopped for speeding on State Route 96 in the Town of Ovid. Upon further investigation it was determined that Washak was driving while intoxicated. When Deputies attempted to place Washak in custody she resisted arrest, and had to be forcibly taken into custody. Washak was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with .08% BAC, Open Container, Speed over 55mph, and Resisting arrest. Washak was processed and released with appearance tickets to a third party. Washak is to appear in the Town of Ovid Court on October 15th, at 10:00 am to answer to the charges. CR#19SH09133
