DWI/PI Accident

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 11/06/18 at around 04:30 am, Deputies responded to St. Rt. 414 in front of the Exit 41 Thruway ramp for the report of a two car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered a minivan had struck a tractor trailer and both vehicles sustained heavy damage. Sheriff’s Deputies  report that a tractor trailer, being operated by Grant Clark, 38, of Weedsport was Northbound on Rt 414 , turning onto the Exit 41 entrance to the NYS Thruway, when a vehicle driven by Daphne S. Dressing, 41, of Serenity Drive  Geneva, NY , failed to stop at the red light, and proceeded through the intersection striking the rear tires of the tractor trailer.  Clark was checked at the scene for a complaint of back pain and  transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Auburn Memorial Hospital for further treatment. Dressing was also checked at the scene and was uninjured.  Dressings vehicle was towed from the scene. Upon further investigation, Deputies arrested  Dressing for Driving While intoxicated . Dressing was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, and Passing a Steady Red Light. Dressing was released on appearance tickets and is set to appear at T/Tyre Court at a later date to answer charges.
