The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on December 17, 2022 at around 4:30 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on State Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo for Speeding in a posted speed zone. Pursuant to a roadside investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, 59 year old Terry J. Owen of Rochester, was driving while intoxicated. Owen was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center in Romulus where he was processed by the Seneca County Jail and released on an appearance ticket. The charges against Owen consist of Speed in Zone, Driving While Intoxicated, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% or more of Alcohol. Owen will be expected to appear before the Waterloo Town Court at a future date to answer for the charges against him. 22SH19197. 144.
