Domestic Violence

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on 2/1/22 at 7:16 AM Deputies responded to the report of a domestic incident at 989 Waterloo Geneva Rd (Budget Inn). After investigation Deputies took one male and one female into custody. Deputies arrested Nicole L. French, age 31 of Seneca Falls, and Brian K. McDermott, age 38, currently homeless. French was arrested at 7:33 AM for Harassment in the Second degree, a violation, as well as Criminal Obstruction of Breathing which is an A Misdemeanor. McDermott was arrested at 7:50 AM for Harassment in the Second degree, a violation, Aggravated Family offense, E Felony, Unlawful Imprisonment and Criminal Mischief Fourth which are both class A Misdemeanors. French and McDermott were turned over to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await CAP Court. Further proceedings will take place in the Town of Waterloo Court.
