Domestic Incident Arrests

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Investigators made two arrests following an investigation into a domestic incident involving a knife that occurred on March 31, 2023, at a residence in the Town of Waterloo.

Charged were the following:

Taylor M. Bonney, age 23, of 1031 Waterloo/Geneva Road, Lot 3, Waterloo, New York, was charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Bonney was arraigned in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Court and released on her own recognizance. Bonney is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court at a later date. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

Brendan L. Seager, age 27, also of 1031 Waterloo/Geneva Road, Lot 3, Waterloo, New York, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Seager was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Town Court at a later date.

It is alleged that Bonney and Seager were engaged in a heated argument in the presence of a child at the Town of Waterloo residence. During the argument, Bonney allegedly picked up a knife and recklessly caused physical injury to Seager. Seager was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance where he was treated and released with a minor injury.

Sheriff’s Investigators are working closely with Seneca County Child Protective Services.
