The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Investigators arrested Arrell S. Henhawk, age 45, of 3016 County Road 124, Romulus NY, on a felony arrest warrant stemming from a serious physical domestic that occurred in the Town of Varick. Henhawk was charged with Menacing in the 2nd degree, a class E felony, Assault in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, Strangulation in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, and misdemeanor charges of Criminal Obstruction of breath and blood circulation (3 Counts), Unlawful imprisonment in the 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree. The victim was treated by North Seneca Ambulance and tranported to Strong Memorial Hospital for further treatment. The victim has since been released, but was treated for physical injuries. Henhawk was arraigned in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000/$10,000 secured bond. Henhawk is to reappear for a preliminary hearing on 03/08/21 at 12:00pm in the Town of Varick Court. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Cornell University Police Department and the Ithaca Police Department for their assistance in the safe arrest of Henhawk. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
