Criminal Sale of a Firearm

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson reports that on January 19, 2024, Investigators arrested 40-year-old Blye E. Delair of 895 Waterloo Geneva Road Lot 39 for the charges of four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree, two counts of Criminal Sale of a Firearm in the second degree, two counts of Criminal Sale of a Ghost Gun in the second degree, and two counts of Criminal Sale of a semi-automatic rifle.  It is alleged that on two separate occasions Delair sold semi-automatic “ghost gun” rifles to another.  Delair was transported to the Seneca County Jail where he was processed and arraigned at Seneca County’s Centralized Arraignment Part Court.  Delair was remanded into the custody of the Seneca County Jail following his arraignment.  Delair will be expected to appear before the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date to answer to the charges against him.  23SH20895.
