The Seneca County sheriff’s Office reports on 12/27/20 at 3:30 pm Deputies arrested Mario A. Ramirez, age 23 of Interlaken, for several domestic violence related charges. After investigation, Deputies arrested Ramirez for the following charges; Criminal Contempt in the first degree, Unlawful Imprisonment, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief in the Forth Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree. The arrests stem from a domestic incident where it is alleged that Ramirez violated a Class A Order of Protection and subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact. Sheriff’s Deputies report Ramirez physically restrained the victim and during the struggle tore the victim’s jeans while trying to keep her from leaving the residence. This entire incident reportedly happened in front of a 9 month old child. Ramirez was turned over to the custody of the Seneca County jail and arraigned at CAP court and released to appear in Covert Town Court at a later date.
