CPCS and AUO

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 08/12/2021 at approx. 2131hrs deputies arrested Darius Stephenson, age 23, of Ithaca for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree. The arrests stems from a personal injury crash in the Town of Covert. During the investigation deputies discovered that Stephenson’s license was suspended and he was in possession of 85 Alprazolam 2mg pills. Stephenson was issued appearance tickets and is to appear in the Covert Town court on a later date.
