Due to unforseen circumstances, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office will be closing the Civil, Pistol Permit, and Records Offices early on Thursday, December 28, 2023. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 0720 am on November 19th, 2023 Deputies arrested Chad Williams, 49 years old, of Savannah New York for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted in the Town of Fayette. It was determined that William’s Blood Alcohol Content was 0.25%. Williams was processed, released on appearance tickets, and turned over to a sober third party. Williams is to appear in the Town of Fayette Court at a later date.


The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Reports the arrest of 30 year old Joshua A. Jones DOB 05/30/1993 a resident of the Town of Waterloo for the Charges of Harassment 2nd a Violation and Attempted Criminal Mischief a Class B Misdemeanor. Deputies report that the charges stemmed from the report and response to a Domestic Incident in the Town of Waterloo that had occurred on November 18th at around 2:00 AM. It was reported that during the Domestic Jones struck another party in the head with objects while throwing them. Deputies reported that he was then taken into custody and was very uncooperative and attempted to damage a Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Patrol car while secured in the back seat and charged for that as well. Jones was transported the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office to await CAP Court, an Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the Victim.


The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on November 18th, 2023, at approximately 4:49PM, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Village of Lodi. During the traffic stop deputies had suspicion the driver, identified as Shaelynn E. Kelly, was intoxicated. Upon further investigation, to include field sobriety tests, Kelly showed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest for DWI. Kelly was then transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where she was processed and released on an appearance ticket. Charges include driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC over .08, and speeding in a 55mph zone. Kelly was released on an appearance ticket and is set to answer the charges in the T/Lodi court on 12/20/2023 at 10:00AM


The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on November 14th, 2023, at approximately 4:40PM, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Mark S. Belliveau,37, of Ovid. The arrest stemmed from a report of a domestic dispute on Water St. in the Village of Ovid at approximately 3:43PM. The individual was taken into custody without incident. Belliveau was taken to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center to await CAP court without incident. Belliveau was charged with Criminal Contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor and Disorderly Conduct, a violation.


The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on 11/12/23 at around 4:11pm, deputies responded to the area of SR 89 and Canoga Island Rd, in the Town of Fayette for the reported PI Accident. Deputies arrived and located a single car accident with three occupants. The driver, Sergey Klimova, age 62 of Webster was uninjured in the crash. Two female occupants identified as Svetlana Braun, age 52 of Webster and Valentina Klimova, age 94 of Webster both complained of head and neck pain. North Seneca Ambulance and Finger Lakes Ambulance responded to the scene and transported both Klimova and Braun to Geneva General Hospital. After subsequent investigation deputies determined that Klimova had attempted to swerve to miss a deer resulting in the crash. Klimova was not cited. Deputies were assisted on Scene by the Canoga Fire Department as well as the Fayette Fire Department.

False Personation

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday November 11th, 2023 at around 3:09am, Deputies arrested 24 year old Donald L. Spencer of Tonowanda, New York following a Property Damage Accident Complaint that Deputies responded to in the Village of Waterloo. While investigating the accident scene, it was made known that Donald L. Spencer had knowingly given a false name and date of birth to deputies to avoid the consequences of only having a New York State Non – Driver ID Only while operating a Commercial motor vehicle on a New York state roadway. Spencer was then arrested and charged with False Personation, a Class B Misdemeanor and was also issued several UTT’s. Spencer was then transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where he was processed and subsequently released with an appearance ticket. Spencer is to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.


The Seneca County Sheriff’s office reports that on November 1st, 2023 at 8:28pm, Seneca County Deputies arrested Dakota Bean age 33 of 1127 Stone Church Road , Junius with Harassment second degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Deputies report that the arrest stems from a domestic incident where Bean made physical contact with the victim while a child was present. Bean was turned over to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim and child.


The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 10/29/23 at about 8:00 P.M. they were contacted by Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department. Onondaga confirmed that they were in custody of Jamesha P Stith, 25 of Syracuse, New York. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office had an arrest warrant for Stith for Grand Laceny in the 4th degree and Conspiracy in the 5th Degree from an incident that occurred in September of this year. Stith was turned over to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and brought to the Correctional Facility to await Centralized Arraignment Court.

Violation of Probation

The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports that on 10/26/2023 at approximately 6pm, Mindy Aguilera, age 45 of Waterloo NY, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation. Aguilera was processed and held for at the Seneca County Corrections facility to await CAP Court arraignment.
