The Seneca County Sheriff Office reports the Arrest of a 30 year old homeless man, Johnathan T. Flesch, of the Town of Seneca Falls from an incident that had occurred on Monday July 31st for the charges of Assault in the Second Degree a Class D Felony, Attempted Assault in the Third Degree a Class B Misdemeanor, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration, a Class A Misdemeanor. After investigation Deputies reported that Flesch became hostile during a visit at 1 DiPronio Drive in the Village of Waterloo. While in the Division of Human Services office during his visit an altercation ensued after Flesch entered a restricted area to the public. Flesch was confronted by a member of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and DHS. After investigation it was found that Flesch was instructed to leave, and refused, which lead to a struggle between a member of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and Several Seneca County Probation Officers. While attempting to detain Flesch two were injured, With one sustaining a serious injury. Flesch was escorted outside the COB without further incident and was taken into custody by Deputies. Flesch was transported to the Seneca County Jail where he was held to await CAP Court orders of protection were issued for both victims.
Members of Seneca County Probation, the Village of Waterloo Police Department and New York State Police assisted during the incident.
