The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on June 13, 2023, at about 3:30 pm, Investigators arrested Lisa M. Racano, age 58, of Ovid, New York, on charges of Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, Misuse of Food Stamps, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree. It is alleged that Racano failed to disclose household income while receiving monetary benefits from Seneca County. Racano was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Town Court on June 21, 2023.
