Warrant arrest Town of Junius Crim Contempt 2nd

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on 12/15/20 at 12:46 pm Deputies arrested Mitchell A. Aaserud, age 32  (homeless )  formerly of Auburn, NY on an arrest warrant for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. Deputies responded to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office and placed Aaserud into custody after he finished his sentence at the Cayuga Co Jail. The arrest warrant stems from an incident on 9/8/20, in the Town of Junius, where it alleged Aaserud contacted the protected party of a class A order of protection. The stay away order of protection mandated Aaserud to not have any contact with the protected party. Aaserud was turned over to the Seneca County Jail and arraigned at CAP court and committed on $1000 cash or $2000 bail bond.
