Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine Arrest

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on July 18th, 2019 at approximately 11:30AM, members of the Narcotics Unit and Seneca County Probation arrested Kyle G. Clawson, age 41, of 1925 Seneca Road, Lodi, NY.  Clawson was arrested after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest out of the Town of Romulus Court on a charge of failure to appear after a previous criminal mischief arrest.  Subsequent to his arrest, members of the Seneca County Probation Department discovered an inactive methamphetamine lab located within a shed on his property.  A search warrant was then obtained for the property where multiple items used in the production of methamphetamine were discovered.  Sheriff’s Investigators also discovered a quantity of methamphetamine within his residence.  Clawson was charged with one count of Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the first degree, a Class B Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.  The Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the first degree charge stems from a prior conviction in January of 2019 in Seneca County Court for previously manufacturing methamphetamine at the same location in November of 2018.  Sheriff’s Investigators were assisted on scene by members of Seneca County Probation, Lodi Fire Department, and New York State Police.
