Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Arrest

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on August 8, 2019 at approximately 2:45PM, Investigators arrested Brandon S. Stone, age 31, of 941 Waterloo-Geneva Rd. Lot 27. Stone was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the third degree, a Class D Felony, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony. It is alleged that Stone stole a motor vehicle from the state of Indiana. Investigators located the stolen vehicle at his residence where he attempted to conceal it with a tarp and switched license plates. Stone is currently being held at the Law Enforcement Center to await arraignment. Investigators are working with the Greenfield Police Department in Indiana for Stone to be extradited back to Indiana.
