HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH: August 5th, 2020: Retired K9 “Aken” passed away. He served with distinction and will be missed.
August 13th, 2020: A domestic in the Town of Waterloo turned violent when the suspect allegedly forced a bag over the victim’s head who began suffocating. Deputies apprehended the suspect.
August 20th, 2020: Deputies responded to a car into a house in Waterloo. The driver was charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
August 22nd, 2020: A fatal Car/ATV accident happened in Covert. The investigation is continuing.
August 30th, 2020: Deputies responded to a domestic violence incident involving a knife in the Town of Junius. The suspect was apprehended without incident.
August 31st, 2020: Investigators investigated a sexual abuse case in Interlaken. A suspect was charged with forcible touching.
