Narcotics Arrest

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on May 24th, 2021 members of the Narcotics Unit arrested Samuel J. Eckert age 32, of 941 Waterloo-Geneva Rd. Lot 32, Waterloo, NY and Erica L. Campbell, age 22, of Auburn, NY. Eckert was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree. Campbell was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and one count of Possession with the Intent to Sell an Imitation of a Controlled Substance. The arrests stem from the execution of a search warrant at 941 Waterloo-Geneva Rd. Lot, 32, Waterloo, NY and a traffic stop in the Town of Seneca Falls. It is alleged that Eckert possessed a “sawed off shotgun” and a rifle with the intent to use the weapons against another. Eckert was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Campbell was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine and a large quantity of an unknown powdery substance that imitated a controlled substance. Campbell was released on appearance tickets and Eckert was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment Part where he was committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of bail or secured bond. Sheriff’s Investigators were assisted by members of the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force and the Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division.
