The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on April 8th, 2019, members of the Narcotics Unit arrested Steven C. Mayo , age 40, of 6960 1st Street, Ovid, N. Y. The arrest stems from an investigation into a larceny of prescription medication from a local business. It is alleged that Mayo stole a controlled substance ( Morphine ) from a local business in the town of Ovid on March 26th 2019. Mayo was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh Degree. Mayo was arraigned at CAP and released. Mayo is to re-appear at a later date to answer the charges.
