The Seneca County Sheriff’s office reports that on 9/14/22, Deputies responded to the area of State Route 89 and Armitage Road for the report of a truck striking a pole. Upon arrival, Deputies did not locate a driver on scene. Witnesses observed a male with injuries fleeing the scene on foot. A search was conducted by medical staff and the local fire departments but could not locate the subject. The next day, Deputies located the registered owner of the truck, Thomas L Lapp age 37 of Waterloo and issued him several traffic tickets. Lapp is to appear in the T/Tyre on a later date to answer the charges
