HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:
June 3rd, 2019: Investigations charged a former Interlaken School Resource Officer with Criminal Sexual Act in the 1st degree for allegedly abusing a child in the Town of Varick.
June 11th, 2019: Deputies responded to a menacing with a firearm case in the Town of Romulus. The suspect was apprehended with an unregistered handgun and was D.W.I.
June 10th – 12th, 2019: The Sheriff’s Office hosted Marine Law Enforcement training for Officers working navigation patrols.
June 12th, 2019: Deputies seized over 2 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Tyre.
June 28th, 2019: The Sheriff’s Office assisted Geneva P.D. with the apprehension and arrest of a S.C.S.O. Corrections Officer on drug charges.
June 28th, 2019: NARCO charged a suspect for possessing heroin in Romulus.
June 28th, 2019: NARCO charged a S.C.S.O. inmate in the jail for possessing cocaine.
June 29th, 2019: The Sheriff’s Office held their first Applicant Academy.
