HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH: 

January 4th, 2019: The Sheriff’s Office annual awards ceremony was held. Investigator Mike Strohm was honored as Officer of the Year.

January 8th, 2019: Deputies responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on Route 96 in Romulus.

January 14th, 2019: Investigations charged 2 suspects with Grand Larceny and Identity Theft in the Town of Waterloo.

January 15th, 2019: Deputies arrested a man for possessing cocaine in the Town of Tyre.

January 18th, 2019: An inmate was charged with felony assault for attacking a Corrections Officer.

January 19th, 2019: Several Deputies and Corrections Officers were detailed to Seneca Falls to assist with the Women’s March.

January 21st, 2019: Investigators responded to Brooklyn N.Y. to apprehend a suspect on a Grand Larceny and Fraud case from the Outlet Center in the Town of Junius.

January 23rd, 2019: The D.A.R.E program at the Hillside Children’s Center in the Town of Varick was concluded. Ten students completed the program.
