HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:
September 2nd, 2021: Investigators, working with Geneva P.D., apprehended a suspect wanted in connection to a double homicide in Rochester.
September 3rd, 2021: Deputies apprehended a motorist that fled a traffic stop and led officers on a pursuit through several Seneca County townships.
September 11th, 2021: An ATV accident under investigation in Fayette left a victim in critical condition.
September 14th, 2021: A new targeted enforcement program: D.D.A.C.T.S.–(Data Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety) was launched at the Outlet Center in Junius.
September 19th, 2021: Deputies partnered with Seneca Falls and Waterloo PD to conduct a Child Safety Seat detail at the Seneca Falls Fire Department.
September 28th, 2021: A truck struck an asphalt roller on Rt 89 in Ovid. Officers are reconstructing the accident which caused a fire, a hazardous spill and left a man in critical condition.
September 30th, 2021: A man was arrested when Deputies responded to a Domestic in Fayette. It was alleged that a woman was strangled and pushed with a young child present.
