Press Release - No Unnecessary Travel restriction lifted
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The "No unnecessary travel restriction" for Seneca County has been lifted by Seneca County Sheriff Jack S. Stenberg as of 10PM last evening and has been replaced with a travel advisory.
Today, roads are still snow and ice covered and motorists are advised to leave plenty of time to arrive at their destination. Blowing and drifting snow continue to make travel difficult in certain places and if you can postpone driving today to allow crews to continue the clean up process it would be appreciated.
IF you must drive, reduce your speed and allow for extra time to arrive at your destination.
We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and may issue additional advisories as necessary
