Press Release - Resisting arrest/CRIM MIS. 4TH



The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports that on June 28th, 2018 at around 10pm, Deputies responded to a Fayette residence for a domestic incident that resulted in the arrest of Janee R. Joyner, 20 years old, of Geneva. Deputies report that they were responding to the residence for an out of control female that was destroying property, and trying to break into the home. When Deputies arrived Joyner resisted arrest, and had to be forcibly taken into custody. Joyner was charged with Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief 4th, Criminal Tampering 3rd, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Trespass 2nd. Joyner was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court before Judge Struzick. Joyner was released on her own recognizance and is to appear in the Town of Fayette Court on July 18th, 2018 at 7pm. Full stay away orders were issued at arraignment protecting the two victims of this incident.
