Press Release - Welfare Fraud Arrest

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On March 30, 2018 at about 3:00pm, Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Natalie R. Staie, age 23, formerly of 7 Chapel Street, Apartment 3, Seneca Falls, New York, on charges related to a welfare fraud investigation.  It is alleged that Staie unlawfully received monetary benefits from Seneca County that she was not entitled to.  Staie was charged with three Class E Felonies consisting of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, and Misuse of Food Stamps.  Staie was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on May 2, 2018 at 5pm.
