LAW ENFORCEMENT:

Total Calls For Service: 1103

Total Arrests: 68

NARCO:

Total new drug cases: 10

Total arrests: 27

CORRECTIONS:

Average Number of Inmates: 94

Monthly Total Made for Boarding In: $34,111.96; Yearly Total: $71,819.92

Total Summons/Complaints/Services: 39

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:

February 2nd, 2018: Deputies arrested 2 suspects for possessing cocaine on a traffic stop in the Town of Tyre. The Driver also had a machete and the passenger was wanted out of Rochester.

February 6th, 2018: Narco arrested 2 suspects from Waterloo for possessing and trafficking Fentanyl in Seneca County. Child Protection was called in as there were young children involved. 

February 12th, 2018: A reported suicidal subject in the Town of Romulus threatened deputies with a baseball bat and physically attacked a deputy. The subject was apprehended after being tased.

February 14th, 2018: Narco arrested a suspect for possessing and trafficking “Crack” cocaine in Seneca County. Child Protection was called in as there were young children involved. 

February 18th, 2018: Former Sheriff Thomas Cleere passed away. Sheriff Luce held a flag lowering ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office. The Department’s flags have been lowered to half-mast for 30 days to honor former Sheriff Cleere. 

February 20th, 2018: Investigations wrapped up several burglary cases in Fayette, Junius, Seneca Falls, Tyre and Waterloo. 3 suspects were arrested and prosecuted.

February 27th, 2018: Narco arrested a suspected dealer for possessing and trafficking Heroin and Fentanyl in Seneca County. Child Protection was called in as there were young children involved.
