The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports on 01/18/18 at approximately 8:28am Deputies arrested Steven T. Grillone, age 30 of 280 Fall St Seneca Falls, following an investigation for a domestic dispute. Sheriff's Deputies report they responded to a report of a domestic in progress at a residence on Rt 96 in the Town of Waterloo. Deputies arrested Grillone as he was leaving the scene after strangling a 35 year old female Seneca Falls resident  to the point of unconsciousness , after breaking items while  six children under the age of 12 were in the home.  Grillone was charged with the following; two counts of Strangulation in the Second Degree (a class D felony), harassment second (a violation), two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree ( a class a misdemeanor), six counts of endangering the welfare of a child (a class a misdemeanor) and criminal contempt in the second degree (a class a misdemeanor). Grillone was arraigned in the town of Tyre Court and remanded to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash / $20,000 secure bond. Deputies report that the investigation is continuing and Grillone is due to appear in court on tuesday January 23, 2018 at 4:30 pm to answer  the charges.
