Press Release - Welfare Fraud Arrests

On December 14, 2017, at about 12:53pm, Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Jeremy U. Trapp, age 32, of 41 Church Street, Apt. A-5, Waterloo, New York, on three counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, Class E Felonies.  It is alleged that Trapp failed to disclose household income on three separate occasions while applying for monetary benefits with Seneca County.  Trapp was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on January 3, 2018 at 5pm.

On December 14, 2017, at about 1:45pm, Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Johnny L. Goodwine, age 27, of 280 Fall Street, Apt. D-1, Seneca Falls, New York, on one count of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a Class E Felony.  It is alleged that Goodwine failed to disclose household income while applying for monetary benefits with Seneca County.  Goodwine was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on December 20, 2017 at 5pm.
