Press Release - Welfare Fraud Arrest



On December 1, 2017, at about 9:20am, Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Stacy M. Wilson, age 47, of 13 VanRenssalaer Street, Lot 1, Seneca Falls, New York, on charges of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a Class E Felony, Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony, and Misuse of Food Stamps, a Class A Misdemeanor.  It is alleged that Wilson failed to disclose household income when applying for public benefits with Seneca County.  Wilson was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on January 17, 2018, at 5pm.
