Press Release - Narcotics Arrest

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

   On October 12, 2017, at about 6:00am, members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 346 Waterloo/Geneva Road in the Town of Waterloo.  As a result of the search warrant execution, Sheriff’s Investigators seized a quantity of crack cocaine, United States Currency, and packaging material commonly used in the sale of illicit drugs.  One of the residents, John L. Stupp, age 43, was charged with the following:

 

Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony

Criminal Nuisance in the First Degree, a Class E Felony

Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor

 

            It is alleged that Stupp has been selling crack cocaine from the residence and allowing others to conduct drug transactions at the location.

           

            Stupp was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail.  Stupp is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on October 13, 2017 at 11am.

 

            Due to the high-risk factors involved, the Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team (ERT) was utilized with assistance from members of the Road Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Division.  The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the arrest.
