LAW ENFORCEMENT:

 

Total Calls For Service: 1113

Total Arrests: 58

 

NARCO:

 

Total new drug cases: 6

Total arrests: 4

 

CORRECTIONS:

 

Average Number of Inmates: 83

Monthly Total Made for Boarding In: $51,079.70, Yearly Total: $350,670.55

 

CIVIL:

 

Total Summons/Complaints/Services: 88

Total Income Executions: 21

Total Evictions: 5

 

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:

 

08/02/2017: Investigators charged a man with multiple counts of rape that occurred in the Town of Junius.

 

08-08-2017 – 08-10-2017:  Deputies and NYS Troopers worked together handling the Public Safety needs at Empire Farm Days.  

 

08/15/2017: Investigators arrested 3 subjects for Grand Larceny in the Town of Ovid.

 

08/18/2017: Investigators and Deputies worked a multi- State investigation where a parent fled New York with an 18 month old child in violation of a Court Order. The child was located with the offending parent in the State of Florida. The offender was charged and the child was safely returned to New York.

 

August 2017: Deputies made 6 arrests for DWI this month—3 with an aggravated Blood Alcohol Content.

 

August 2017: 2 Investigators were trained and certified as Juvenile Officers. 1 Deputy was trained and certified as an advanced School Resource Officer. This was to meet training goals and prepare for new upcoming “Raise the Age” law changes.
