Press Release - 2 Car MVA



The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports on August 12th, 2017 at approximately 11:00am Sheriff Deputies responded to the intersection of State Route 414 and Ernsberger Rd for the two car personal injury accident.  The 2017 Ford Mustang driven by Joseph P. Craven, age 59 of 301 E. 38th St Apt9D New York, was stopped South bound on Route 414 to make a left turn onto Ernsberger when a 2008 Toyota Prius being driven by Vincent T. Pecorraro, age 26 of 262 Christiana St. North Tonawanda, hit him from behind.  The two vehicles collided causing extensive damage to each vehicle.  Pecorraro was transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital where he was treated and released for a head injury . A passenger of the Mustang, Phillip L. Velez, age 50 of NYC  and Craven were both transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General hospital to be checked over for possible injuries. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.   Pecorraro was issued a UTT for following too closely and he will appear in the Town of Varick court at a later date to answer the charge.
