Press Release - Drug Bust

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On June 28, 2017, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested three subjects following an extensive drug investigation at 9140 Keady Road in the Town of Lodi that resulted in a search warrant execution at the residence.  As a result of that search warrant, Sheriff’s Investigators seized nearly $5,000 worth of cocaine in both powdered and crack cocaine form, nearly $3,500 in United States currency, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging material, digital scales, imitation pistols, throwing knives, a dagger, metal knuckles, and a kung-fu star.  Quantities of Suboxone, Alprazolam, Oxycodone, Amphetamine, and Methylphenidate were also seized.

 

The following people were arrested:

 

Shawn M. Rousseau, age 32, of 9140 Keady Road, Lodi, New York, was charged with the following:

 

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (two counts), Class D Felonies

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (four counts), Class D Felonies

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (four counts), Class A Misdemeanors

Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (two counts), Class A Misdemeanors

Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation

 

            Rousseau was arraigned in the Lodi Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail/$20,000 secured bond.  Rousseau is to reappear in the Lodi Town Court on July 3, 2017 at 10am.

 

Emily E. Vannais-Jackson, age 27, of 2457 Route 89, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with following:

 

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (two counts), Class D Felonies

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (four counts), Class A Misdemeanors

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (four counts), Class A Misdemeanors

Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (two counts), Class A Misdemeanors

Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation

 

            Vannais-Jackson was arraigned in the Lodi Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 secured bond.  Vannais-Jackson is to reappear in the Lodi Town Court on July 3, 2017 at 10am.

 

Zachary J. Brewer, age 30, no permanent address, was charged with the following:

 

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor

 

            Brewer was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Lodi Town Court on July 19, 2017 at 10am.

 

            The Narcotics Unit was assisted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol, and New York State Police.
