The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports on June 13, 2017 at approximately 12:00pm Sheriff Deputies responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Hecker Rd in the Town of Waterloo. Mya Willower, age 19 of 9 Center St Waterloo, was operating a 2012 Hyundai Elantra eastbound on Hecker Rd when she lost control of the vehicle and exited the roadway resulting in the vehicle to overturn.  The vehicle struck a utility pole guide wire and came to rest smashing a wooden outbuilding on the side of the road.  Willower was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General , then due to the extent of her injuries, transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester , where she was treated for a hand injury and neck and back injuries,  and later released .  The vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene . Sheriff's Deputies report Willower was passing an uninvolved vehicle in a no passing zone, before loosing control and leaving the roadway.  Willower was issued UTT's for Speed not Reasonable and Prudent, and Improper Passing , and is to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date . Also assisting at the scene was the Waterloo Police Dept and the Waterloo Fire Dept.
