Press Release - Contraband Arrest
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On March 17, 2017, at about 6:05pm, Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Christina A. Strally, age 38, of 17 1/2 East Williams Street, Waterloo, New York, on charges related to an investigation within the Seneca County Correctional Facility. It is alleged that Strally attempted to smuggle a narcotic drug into the Correctional Facility while confined as an inmate. An alert Correction Officer located and seized the item from Strally. Strally then allegedly forcibly retrieved the item from the Correction Officer and swallowed it. Strally was uninjured as a result of the incident, but was monitored closely by medical staff.
Strally was charged with:
Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor
Promoting Prison Contraband in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor
Strally was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Romulus Town Court on April 21, 2017 at 10am.
