Press Release - DWAI Drugs arrest/Overdose
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Seneca County Sheriff;s Office reports that on February 21st at 11:38am, Sheriff's Deputies were called to the area of Steele Road and Edwards Road in the Town of Waterloo for the report of a personal injury crash. On arrival, the male operator of the vehicle was still inside the vehicle in the ditch. He had to be extricated from the car by membesr of the Border City Fire Department. The male operator identified as Benjamin D. Jarlenski, age 26 of 890 Waterloo Geneva Road, was found to be overdosing on a narcotic and was quickly administered NARCAN by Members of North Seneca Ambulance. After the male was stabalized in Geneva General Hospital, He was charged with one count of failure to keep right and one count of Driving While ability impaired by drugs. Deputies report the vehicle sustained little damage in the crash and was towed from the scene. Jarlenski will appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on the 24th of March at 5pm for further court action.
