Press Release - Stolen Weapon
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports that on 12/08/2016 around 8:00am, Deputies responded to a domestic incident that occured at a residence in the Town of Romulus. Deputies arrived on scene and Spoke to Charles V. Mullen age 46 of Romulus who states that he was in an arguement with another individual who was inside the residence.
While Deputies were conducting their investigation, Deputies located several firearms in the residence. After further investigation, Deputies discovered that Mullen did not possess a NY State pistol permit. Mullen was charged with two counts of Criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree, both Class E Felonies . Deputies also report that one of the pistol's was reported stolen from North Carolina. Mullen was also charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a Class E Felony.
Mullen was arraighned in the Town of Seneca Falls court and committed to the Seneca Correctional Facility on $2,500.00 cash Bail and is to reappear at a later date to answer the charges.
