Press Release - Personal Injury MVA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports that on Saturday October 8th at about 8:00am, Sheriff's Deputies responded to a Personal Injury Accident at the intersection of State Route 336 and MacDougal Road in the Town of Varick.

Deputies report that Roy Smith age 80 of 929 Yale Station Road in Geneva was Eastbound on Rt. 336 preparing to stop and turn on to MacDougal Road. While Smith was waiting for oncoming traffic to pass, Smith was rear ended by Ashley Hall age 23 of 1456 St.Rt. 336.

Smith was treated at the scene by South Seneca ambulance and transported to Geneva General for further treatment. Hall was uninjured but was also transported to Geneva General for a check over by South Seneca Ambulance. Hall's passengers : Vito A. Foster age 3 and Dasani R.Foster of 1456 St.Rt. 336  were uninjured in the accident

 Hall was issued a UTT for Following too closely and is to appear in the Town of Varick court on a later date.
