Press Release - Welfare Fraud Arrest
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On August 11, 2016, at about 7:19pm, Seneca County Sheriff's Office Investigators arrested Sally A. Nieman, age 30, of 8587 Powell Road, Interlaken, New York, on charges of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony, Misuse of Food Stamps, a Class E Felony, and Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony. The charges stem from an investigation into Nieman receiving public benefits and not disclosing her income to Seneca County. Nieman was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on September 7, 2016 at 5pm.
