The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports on July 9, 2016 at approximately 12:45pm Sheriff Deputies responded to a three vehicle, personal injury accident at the intersection of State Route 96 and Brewer Rd , in the Town of Waterloo. Deputies report that a Dodge Magnum being operated by Robb S Nadeau, age 57 of 734 Hecker Rd Wateroo, a Toyota Rav 4, being operated by Sandra E Ditch, age 73 of 20 White Springs Lane Geneva, and a Harley Davidson Motorcycle being operated by Michael A Cotto, age 49 of 192 Ovid St lot 20 Seneca Falls were all westbound on Rt 96 in the Town of Waterloo. The vehicles were approaching the intersection of Brewer Rd when Robb Nadeau began to make a left turn onto Brewer Rd. Sandra Ditch slowed down and began to pass the Nadeau on the right. Michael Cotto then attempted to slow down but lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle turned sideways and went into a slide. A passenger Rhonda L Cotto, age 44 (wife same address) was ejected from the motorcycle as it began to slide across the roadway. Michael Cotto, who stayed ON the bike slid across the road striking the rear of the Dodge Magnum and the Toyota Rav 4. The motorcycle and its operator Cotto then came to rest in a ditch on the north side of the roadway. Rhonda Cotto was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance then flown to Upstate Medical Center by Life Net, where she is listed in critical condition for possible neck and back injuries. Michael Cotto was checked over at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance. Nadeau and Ditch report they were uninjured, and both vehicles sustained light damage and were driven from the scene. The motorcycle was towed from the scene. Also assisting at the scene were the Waterloo and Border City Fire Departments. Deputies report the road was closed for approx two hours while the Sheriff's Office accident reconstruction unit investigated the accident .
